Question:
What happens when the American-Scandinavian Student Exchange organisation branches out into high-school exchanges between countries all over the world?

Answer:
You get ASSE offices appearing all over the globe.

Look out AIESEC, this acronym looks a lot easier to remember and explain.

And some points of clarification for the curious:
  • Don't confuse this with other ASSEs, like the American Society of Safety Engineers.
  • AIESEC stands for Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales, which is French for "International Student Exchange and Drinking Association".
  • That is my sweet girlfriend in the photo.
